My husband and I both learned how to do lovely little ink and watercolour sketches from Sharon. She is a wonderful teacher and we learned a lot about both drawing and colour. They are fun to do and are great reminders of the places that we've travelled to. It's always interesting to see how differently we interpret the same scene. I have used these sketches to make larger paintings and we have also photocopied them to make cards.

  • I can't draw a stick man, is this course for me?

    YES! I will walk you through each step. You can rewatch the videos as often as you like, or sketch along with me, pausing as you need to. You will also get help from myself as well as from the other members of the Facebook community.

  • I don't have any art supplies, what do I do?

    In the first video I will show you many possibilities for your sketch kit. From the dollar store, to the art supply store, or online, the supplies you need are readily available. You can watch the first several modules while you wait for your supplies to arrive.

  • I am an experienced artist, is this course for me?

    YES! Learning to do these quick sketches will give you a fresh, approach to be able to gather your inspiration under 30 minutes, highlighting the things that are of interest to you. You can capture the colour you see, or wish you saw, so much better than a value sketch or a photograph.

  • How long will it take to complete this course?

    All the content is available to you as soon as you register. You can watch the videos at whatever pace you want, as it suits your schedule. The 23 course videos are typically 15-30 minutes in length. Each sketch typically takes 30-60 minutes - remember these are quick sketches, not full paintings!

  • What is your refund policy if I am not happy with the course?
